Technological process of blast furnace

Blast furnace process flow:

Blast furnace smelting is a continuous production process, the whole process is completed in the top-down contact process between the charge and the gas. Charge the charge from the top of the furnace into the furnace according to a certain batch, and blow it into the hot blast furnace from the tuyere for heating to 1000-1300 ℃. The coke in the furnace is burned in front of the tuyere to produce high temperature reducing gas, which heats the furnace charge rising slowly in the furnace. The oxide in the reducing iron ore is metallic iron.

When the ore rises to a certain temperature, it softens, melts and drips, and the unreduced material in the ore forms slag, which realizes the separation of slag and iron. Slag iron accumulates in the hearth and there are many reactions. Adjust the components and temperature to the end point, and discharge slag and molten iron regularly. The rising air stream carries energy to the charge and lowers the temperature. The blast furnace gas is discharged from the top outlet pipe and enters the dedusting system.

The iron ore loaded into the blast furnace is mainly composed of iron and oxygen compounds. At high temperatures, carbon and ejecta from coke and carbon monoxide from combustion capture oxygen from iron ore into iron. This process is called reduction. The iron ore is converted into pig iron by reduction reaction, and the molten iron is discharged from the tap hole.

Blast furnace dedusting dust refers to the dust produced before the furnace is discharged and the dust produced in the process of discharging the charge through a certain proportion of mixture on the top of the furnace, but because the particles of the two kinds of dust are very small, it is not conducive to collection.
