More than 80% of the production capacity of the world's iron and steel metallurgy industry is produced by the traditional "sintering - ironmaking - steelmaking - rolling" long process. It has the advantages of high steelmaking efficiency and mass production, which is far beyond the production capacity of electric furnace steelmaking and direct reduction method.

1. Sintering production process: the sintering operation is to mix iron ore, various fluxes and fine coke for granulation, add them to the sintering machine through the distribution system, ignite the fine coke from the ignition furnace, and exhaust the air from the fan to complete the sintering reaction. After crushing, cooling and screening, the high temperature sinter is sent to the blast furnace as the main raw material for molten iron smelting.

2. The granulation process can be summarized as follows: the raw materials (fine grinding concentrate and additives, etc.) are mixed in a certain proportion, mixed by dry method, and then enter the granulation system for granulation, and then enter the grate kiln ring cooler for drying, high-temperature baking and cooling, until sent to the finished product system. High temperature roasting in rotary kiln is an important link in pellet production, which determines the performance and output of pellet.
